Lauren Aurelius
Lauren was born and raised in Ellison Bay, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a journalism degree. After graduation, she obtained a teaching certificate from UW-Milwaukee and went on to teach third grade for a number of years. In 2014, she returned home to Door County to live and raise her family.
After working for many years in the service industry, she recently decided to pursue a career in real estate. Lauren obtained her Wisconsin Real Estate License in April of 2018, and joined Professional Realty of Door County shortly thereafter. She is looking forward to helping both residents and visitors find their Door County dream home!
In her free time, Lauren enjoys being at the beach, traveling, hiking and cooking. She lives in Sister Bay with her family.
Michael Meilinger
Mike grew up in Virginia outside of DC, and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University. His great-grandfather built a cottage in Ephraim in 1908, and through the generations his family has continued to come to Door County. After graduating college in 2019, Mike decided to move to Sister Bay. He loves being on the water and spending time with family and friends. He received his real estate license in the Spring of 2024.
Holly Thomas - Broker
Holly Thomas grew up in Door County since the age of 3 – almost a local! She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Olaf College, Northfield, MN. After living in Minneapolis and working in management for a large corporation, she made the decision to move home, back to Door County.
Her first job back in Sister Bay, was working at a local building supply center. She started out in counter sales and filing, then worked as a merchandiser and ending as a kitchen and bath designer. “My background in the building industry was a great segway for my career in real estate. I got to see how houses were built from start to finish and what products and materials were being used.”
Holly earned her Real Estate license in 2005 and broker’s license 2008. After growing up in the business, with her mother being a successful Broker, it just seemed like a natural fit. She has earned her Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and the Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designations. She is currently a Director on the Door County Board of Realtors. Holly also served on the Sister Bay Economic Development Committee and was a Council member at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church.
Thomas lives in Sister Bay with her husband Joel, who builds custom furniture, and their son Payton and daughter Kenzie. When not working, Holly enjoys cooking, golfing, boating and spending time with family.

I love being able to help people find and sell their dream piece of Door County – whether it be a first time home buyer, the casual vacationer, the retiree or the investor.
